It's Been a While
The last time i posted was October 05 lol...Well i decided to revive my blog for reasons even i do not know. Maybe it's just that im bored of studying for my psych midterm i have later today.
Anyway, the last 4 months been cool. I slept in a lot of chem lectures (even though i have enough sleep and actually try to stay awake) and have skipped quite a lot of bio ones. I think im just not designed to stay awake in lectures lol. I need to figure out some strategy to stay awake... Yea overall first term wasn't all that great- marks wise that is. Hopefully i can turn things around this term, although i already bombed one calc exam. So yeah i need to ace this psych midterm and everything else after because i need to pull my last term's gpa up for pharmacy. Being the optimistic person that i am, i think its doable. Well here's some interesting stuff that happened last few months:
- decided to go to Japan as a grad trip (if anyone's interested plz tell me)
- finished driving school (g2 coming up in march, but im not saying the actual date lol)
-chilling with old friends during christmas
-went downtown for some skating and also the first lighting ceremony
-injured my shoulder from working out (Argh so annoying... still need to get a scan to see the exact area of damage, though physiotherapist said it was inflamed tendon)
- dodgeball tournament at school (though we lost, it was fun times)
- went out with my gf on valentine's day (LOL yea right i wish.... :P)
Anywho time to get back to studying. Ah one more thing...my mom just left for HK this morning for 2 weeks so i guess i need to cook for myself. It should be interesting since i rarely cook haha. I guess ill blog about some stuff ill be making for myself lol. Dang, too bad my mom took the digi cam with her or else i can post some pics here too. Ill probably be eating delissio pizzas for the rest of the week due to school. But next week is reading week, so there should be plenty of stuff to cook!

First Day of University
I haven't updated this thing for a month or so lol. Generally nothing much happened, except that my cousin came over to Toronto for about 3 weeks or so and frosh. Frosh was pretty fun. The most interesting thing that happened was the downtown parade and also the island party on the last day.
Anyway, unlike every other university and high schools, I had my first set of lectures today at UTSC. It was pretty crazy, because the whole place was packed with students. This is mainly because people needed to get books, osap money.....and lockers! Man, the line for lockers was so friggin long. People had to wait 2 hours. Luckily I found Hina who was like a couple of students away from the registration counter right after my second lecture. So Steph and I were fortunate enough to bud her and we got our lockers in like 15 minutes lol! Anyway, back to lectures. Tionie, Neena, Steph and I were suppose to meet up at 8 30 because we all had classes at 9. However, since Neena and Tionie arrived at like 8 50, we ended up sitting in the last row of the lecture hall. I couldn't see anything on the screen because i left my dang glasses at home. But yeah, the psychology professor was pretty cool. He pretty funny and enthusiatic. I get a feeling psych will be an interesting course.
Now onto my second lecture-chem. Man this was one boring lecture. Me and Steph kinda fell asleep not even half way during the lecture. I guess it was just the way she was "lecturing". Unlike psych, i think chem is gonna be pretty boring :\.
After that i went to get my locker and then my psych book. I didn't end up getting my osap things done because there was a 3 hour line up. So instead i headed to the meeting place where i joined the anime club :) ! Now, i have to decide which Chinese club to join lol. At around 3 15, i went home. I hope the lectures tmrw aren't as boring as today's.

Mount Tremblant
I originally thought we were going to Montreal but apparently i heard wrong. We went to Mount Tremblant which is just outside of Montreal. For those who dont know, Mount Tremblant's about a 6 hour drive from scarborough, and its a pretty cool ski resort. The hotels, stores, restaurants, pretty much all the buildings there are of European architecture so you feel like ur somewhere in Switzerland...but your not...your still in bloody Canada lol. Overall, it was a good trip - stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. This was mostly a sight seeing trip which i like haha, but i did get some fun out of it. I went to the beach for a tan, went downhill on a luge and had some good food (not to mention booze for the last three days lol). On our way home, our family was suppose to meet up with our aunt's (who went to Tremblant as well) at Montreal for lunch. But within the first 30 minutes of driving, our tire blew out so we didnt get to eat lunch with them. The spare tire said max speed of 50 mph which is like 80 to 90 km/h, but my stepdad insisted on going on the highway to safe time lol. Luckily we managed to find a canadian tire on the way and got a new one. During the 1 hour wait for the car to be fixed, i walked aroudn the mall abit, which is quite awkward. For one thing, i was still in Quebec and everyone's speaking french. Also only white people were in the mall. So everywhere i walk theres ppl staring at me ahaha. After getting the car fixed, it took a 4-5 hour drive to get back home.

Highschool Over!
Finally...exams....highschool...everything's over! I realized i haven't updated my blog since my second exam, but i was kind of busy studying for the exams. Overall, I did okay in them...coulda done a lot better in some of them if i studied more. I did really good in the physics exam, but that's probably because we get our "memorandum" sheet. Now that school's over, it's time to chill and party lol...but i still got some stuff to do before that.
1. I have to read everything UTSC sent me about course selections and pick them online this coming monday.
2. Clean up my messy room...i got clothes all over the floor, scattered papers everywhere.
3. Throw out w/e notes i have from gr12, maybe keeping a few that are really helpful.
4. Sign up for YMCA!!! Ill probably get bored sometime during the summer, so i might as well spend this time working out in a gym haha.
Thennnnnnn it's time to party and have fun lol....

Friendly Greek
Not that much happening today. I had a good nine hours of sleep, which i guess didnt really benefit me, because i felt really tired the whole day. I probably slept too much today lol, whereas i don't have enough sleep on school days (5-6 hours). But anyway, i originally planned to study chem all afternoon, but being the lazy bum that i am, i ended up spending more time in front of the tv :S. Then i went out with my family for dinner at the new Friendly Greek on sheppard and brimley. The building's design was beautifully done. It had a patio for outdoor diners, and the interior designs made the restaurant seem like one of those elegant steak houses found in downtown. There was a live Greek music performance throughout the night, and the waiters occasionally did those traditional group dances. The food was pretty good, but i couldn't finish what i ordered because I filled up on garlic bread (2 baskets) during the initial 45 minutes my mom and i waited for my relatives lol. Woah this post is turning into some sort of cheesy restaurant review lol...so ill just end it here. MUST STUDY CHEM TMRW!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exam Day 2: Bio
Today was a pretty eventful day i'd say. First i wrote the 75 m.c. bio exam, which wasn't as hard as i expected. If i studied, i woulda did really good on it, however, i didn't at all and i think ill end up with a 60 or so...hopefully. But yeah, bio is my 7th subject, so utsc won't look at it. I originally wanted to drop it but my mom insisted me on taking it. After that, karl, giam, anik, adrian l., enoch, anthony, howard, heymian, patrick and i played some basketball. It was pretty rough. I got bear hugged by howard, shoved and pushed by a bunch of people. Had this been a real game of basketball with refs. and stuff, everyone would of fouled out lol. Meh it was all good. Afterwards, i went with a couple of friends to watch Mr and Mrs Smith. It was a pretty good movie. It was funny and it also had some good action sequences. Yeah overall, it was pretty good day...
